I use the Auto-fill option in my Firefox browser, but it has outdated contact information for me, which I would like to update.... How can I change the Auto-fill to reflect my current phone number please?? Thanks in advance!!

Hi zlloyd1, Firefox's newer "address filler" feature has a dialog where you can edit or remove saved addresses, which may include phone numbers. There's a section on that in the following article: Automatically fill in your address on web forms.

Firefox's older "form history" feature doesn't have that kind of interface, but when you see a suggestion in a form field drop-down, you can remove it by arrowing down to highlight it and pressing Shift+Delete on the keyboard.

Can you get rid of it?

I just noticed you have this extension on the add-ons list you shared:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/form-history-control/

That might be a different set of data in addition to the built-in sources. ??

Alright thanks, I have been to Preferences > Privacy Security > Forms & Password > Saved Addresses, and it shows my current information correctly, but when I use it in practice, it is still entering my previous phone number, that is not even there anymore.... This is confusing to me, as there is only one entry in Saved Addresses that is my name / email, so I cannot see how to force it to use the information that is there?? It could just be some kind of bug with the browser, but if so i would love to know how to fix that then!!

That add-on is something that was recommended to me by another answer I found to this question on Google, and I am not certain what it even does honestly.... I will likely Remove it from my extensions, since I have no use for it truly!!

Hi zlloyd1, it's hard to understand where the phone number comes from if not from the address filler or perhaps the website itself -- cached page, or based on recognizing you using a cookie. To flush form data restored from the cache from the current page, you can reload it using Command+Shift+r or Shift+click the reload button on the toolbar.

jscher2000 I am going to keep searching for why this is happening, because I empty the cache / cookies, every time I close the browser, and it kind of feels like a bug of some sort to me....
