hello smader, Sometimes these run-away operations can be due to bad keyboard or mouse or computer infection. For example, if the keyboard is faulty, then one or two keys may be shorting out or stuck. So then when you click on something like a bookmark, the computer not only recognizes your click but also a key that is stuck. So a click and a key press, could result in the multiplication of your bookmarks. Similarly, a bad mouse will send many many clicks to the computer even though you only pressed it once. And its possible that the only reason the stop multiplying is because your computer runs out of memory. But the above is only one example of a possible reason. To test your issue in a more logical way, please export your bookmarks to a file. and then from the file, invoke a bookmark and see how the system behaves. To export: go to bookmarks menu > show all > export/import > export to html Save the html file to your disk. Then open the file. It should appear like a document with a bunch of links in it. Now pick a link and see which browser opens it and how it behaves.
