im a Win XP user, yes laugh. i love it still.

anyway, ive been wondering why Firefox unlike all the other browsers out now that are pretty great is lacking UI wise. I was excited to see the new UI since 5 but im still dissapointed in a way because they still havent created a fully intergrated UI.

for example, Maxthon 3 and Google Chrome both have integrated UI's for windows XP as with almost any new programs now a days they are starting to build their own full themes so XP doesnt feel old.

the only reason i care so much is because i finally got Firefox 6 to work after it crashing constantly for months and then i finally read about java console causing it to crash because its not compatible. now that ive finally been able to use the new browser update, i love it. its by far the fastest browser for me and like i said i like the new UI.

i just wish there was a way to integrate the Native XP UI that Firefox has used since the dawn of time into their theme like Chrome and MX3. if you still dont understand what UI part im speaking about the top bar that has your close, minimize and restore down options for us Win XP users.

sadly it irritates me every time, because its so close to perfect for me except the theme, one reason i stopped using IE ages ago because its just so ugly and old looking.

well if anyone could possibly tell me how if they have done it for windows XP to get the theme to fully integrate like chrome for instance would be greatly appreciated or possibly if someone knows its coming with future updates i can just wait.

Hide the Menu bar and maximize the browser window, and you'll have Tabs in the Titlebar.

sigh thats closer to what im getting at. ill try to describe it further though, i guess that will do for now.

but this is what i mean exactly, although its better now it still uses the native Win XP close and minimize buttons. heres what im getting at, when you press f11 to go into full screen mode why isnt the UI like that normally? notice how in full screen the entire UI fully integrates into firefoxes theme and no longer uses any Win XP UI theme parts including the buttons?

its just weird. hopefully you understand what i mean. i appreciate the help though but i still hate the buttons, figures it would not fully change completely to get at my artsy side further. id use full screen but i have to exit out of it every time which gets annoying and it sets priority over other windows forcing me set it normally after every session.

Some themes will change those buttons in WinXP, such as this one:
