Whilst in the process of getting rid of AOL I managed to get invaded by searchqu which installed a toolbar in my firefox homepage. After using spybot, threatfire and symantic on the issue; also removing the toolbat addon I am still left with the address of www.searchqu.com/406 in the search box. I can get rid of this if I get a google address from the history tab. would it be best to uninstall Firefox and re-install again? what would happen to all my bookmarks. help !!
