Why do I have to reboot between folders in order to delete from both?

I successfully delete files from my inbox and then go to my sent items folder to delete files there. I click on the "select all" square at the top to check all the files. Nothing happens so I manually check each file and then click on "delete." Nothing happens. I have to reboot Firefox and go to the "Sent" folder first. Then the "select all" square performs correctly and the delete command performs correctly. Firefox just won't allow me to delete from multiple folders without rebooting in between them. I'm sure the problem is with Firefox as I also have Internet Explorer and do not experience this problem with that program.

This sounds like a bug with the webmail provider... most such providers write different code for different browsers and it sounds like a bug with the Firefox version.

To be sure, you should clear your cookies and cache] for the site:

  1. For Windows XP: At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Tools menu and select Clear Recent History....
  2. In the Time Range to clear: drop-down, select Everything.
  3. Click the arrow next to Details to display the list of items that can be cleared.
  4. Select both Cookies and Cache.
  5. Click Clear Now.

I tried your suggestion several times and even tried rebooting my computer following the last time, but still to no avail. The problem still remains only now I can't seem to delete ANYTHING from ANY folder.

Well, I'm back where I started from. I can delete, move, etc. from one folder, but have to reboot Mozilla Firefox in order to perform another action in one of the other folders. It doesn't matter which folder I choose to perform the first action. It will work, but the next action in another folder will not until I shut down Mozilla and open it again.
