hello timb6, please install version 0.25 of the collusion extension from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/collusion/versions/ which should fix issues with firefox 18.

thanks madperson, that did the trick. love that addon

I am new to this forum, asked a question about Collusion, got some replies. I hope this works to get the info to you all.

jscher2000: Some help, but not all. I found the add on bar at very bottom of screen. X in left corner. No Icon. Ctrl plus + key changes size of screen contents. Ctrl plus / shows or hides add on bar.

But no icon in bar. click "tools" then "add-ons" then screen shows collusion with option to disable. Since there is a disable option I am assuming it is enabled. Text for collusion entry says "to get started " choose "collusion graph from the tools menu" but no such entry in tools menu.

Your suggestion Firefox Button -> Add-ons -> [Extensions] -> Collusion -> [Preferences] to see instructions and to enable Collusion does not work as there is no choice Preferences for collusion. There is an "options" button which gives the 'collusion graph" instruction but there is no 'collusion graph" in any choice of the add on manager. or tools, or help or view or history or edit or file. or bookmarks.

Firefox V 22.0 with default appearance shown in add on manager as default 22 updated 6/26/2013.

Click on tools, then right click on options then click on customize gives many icons for things like space, print. history, cut, copy etc. The Icon for "better privacy" shows up here. This is an add on I have used for a long time. But no collusion graph or collusion icon.

John99 View, toolbars, shows four toolbars checked. Menu, navigation, bookmarks, add ons. Click customize and all kinds of icons appear, for print, space, cut, etc, and for "better privacy" But no "collusion graph" or collusion "icon"

Add on manager has option to disable so I assume it is enabled. Text for that entry says to get started "choose collusion graph from the tools menu" but no such entry in any tools menu I can find.

philipp suggested resource://jid1-f9uj2thwoam5gq-at-jetpack/collusion/data/ui/index.html putting that info into the location bar results in a mostly blank page with a menu in the upper left. Left clicking or right clicking on anything on the screen does nothing.

hello dporteus711, here was your original question: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/user/916208

do you by any chance run firefox in permanent private browsing mode (="never remember history" in firefox > options privacy)? because then you won't be tracked by cookies and the collusion addon has nothing to report/visualize...
