Browse without saving history, cookies, passwords, site preferences or temporary Internet files.

Private Browsing does not make you anonymous on the Web. Your Internet provider and websites themselves may still be able to track you.

To browse privately in Firefox Lite:

  1. Tap the tab number icon at the bottom of the screen to bring up the tab list.
  2. Tap the Firefox Lite Private Browsing icon icon at the bottom of the screen.

Alternatively, you can do the following:

  1. Tap the menu button (three dots) at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap Private Tab.
    The mask will turn purple and the Private Browsing home screen will open.

    To exit Private Browsing mode, tap the purple mask again.
