Witam, Od pewnego czasu mam problem z zalogowaniem się do poczta.intera.pl. Pojawia się komunikat " Logowanie na serwerze poczta.interia.pl za pomocą nazwy użytkownika się nie powiodło." Po zmianie hasła RAZ udało się zalogować, a teraz znów nie. Logując się bezpośrednio na pocztę Interii wszystko działa. Wyczyszczenie haseł w managerze haseł nie pomogło. Proszę o pomoc.

After searching and following some suggestions approaches I've consolidated these into the following steps which worked for me:

Copy the Profile to a Disk/USB

  1. Mount the disk/USB. This needs to larger than the profile selected
  2. On W10, open TB -> Troubleshooting Information -> Profiles -> about:profiles.
  3. Find the the profiles where 'Default Profile' is Yes
  4. Click on Show in Explorer (e.g. vx7sjwjh.default)
  5. Close TB
  6. Copy and paste the folder selected in Explorer to the disk/USB to be used for the transfer.

Install the Profile on the maxOS

  1. Mount the disk/USB
  2. In Finder, find the mounted volume and copy the profile
  3. In Finder, select Go->Home
  4. If you can't see Library enter 'command+shift+.'
  5. In Library->Thunderbird->Profiles
  6. Paste the copied profile

Assign the Profile in TB

  1. Open TB
  2. Help->Troubleshooting Information->Profiles->about:profiles
  3. Create New Profile->Continue
  4. Choose a name that has not been assigned. You will see an error 'A profile with this name already exists' if it is not unique
  5. Click on Choose Folder
  6. Select the folder you pasted
  7. Click Done
  8. Scroll down until you see the Profile you created (if you don't see it, restart TB)
  9. Click on 'Set as default profile'
  10. Click on 'Launch Profile'

You should now see your profile

When I receive an email and send a reply, if another reply is sent to me, it no longer shows as a separate incoming email, but gets placed underneath the original reply with a little arrow next to it. How can I set Thunderbird up to simply show all incoming emails as new arrivals. Under the current setup, it is sometimes several days before I notice that little arrow. If the original email was given the darkened text as new emails get, I would see it. As it is, some folks have sent me new messages because I did not respond to their reply. It's a little embarrassing. I would simply like all incoming email to be shown as individual incoming emails so that I can easily see them. That's how things used to work before the last big update. The Thunderbird action now taken when the X on the upper right mini menu (Minimize, Maximize,Close) treats the "Close" option as a "move to run in background and do not add an indication to the taskbar". Every other Windows program treats this CLOSE as a QUIT/EXIT. Somewhere along the way T-Bird changed its standard action away from the QUIT/EXIT.

  This is very irritating to me as I run a desktop and a laptop accessing the same set of post offices using TB on each.  I will "X" out of TB on my desktop and activate my laptop later only to discover the laptop has no new email since the desktop TB was downloading email in its hidden state.
   Please add an option so I can  use the "X" as a QUIT for TB - the current 3 button quit is very awkward as well as unnatural.  I really don't want to set the "Check for new messages" option off and remember to periodically poll for new messages !!!  PLEASE

THREADS, the display tacks a new email onto a recent thread-related or not. I did not ask for this and would like to remove it. Seems that since the People behind TB have now left us to the 'community' We are not impressed.

You invest time and effort into a product then through stupid updates that wipe out all that work makes the effort to support you a waste of time and money. Now I have to spend hours doing rework because of your ignorance and lack of care for your supporters, typical of tech, we broke it and we don't care.

I have swapped to Thunderbird and struggling to get my mailboxes up and running Currently my big stumbling block is that I cannot get Thunderbird to remember my mailbox password. I did try checking the box to use the password manager, and it did store it correctly according to the saved passwords in the 'Saved Logins' dialogue in settings but still the problem persists It has worked on occasions but very intermittent and for the past day or so refuses to connect The password that I give to Thunderbird, and the one saved in Saved Logins is correct and works if I try my webmail alternative login Originally I thought the issue may be my Kaspersky Internet Security butting in but I have the same problem when I pause the protection I am out of ides so any help would be gratefully received Regards Greg

I have used Thunderbird with Yahoo (email and calendar) for many years. Never had any problems with email syncing, but calendar was always a bit more difficult. At first it was caldav, but around 2023 it stopped working, so I moved to following instructions: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN4075.html

This stopped working late last year and never managed to find what the problem is...

Searching for a solution found this: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1460558

but on reflection, this doesn't work for me (caldav) plus trying to use "Provider for Caldav" I am being told that it is not compatible with my version of Thunderbird (102.11.0 64-bit)

I am currently dealing with important legal matters and my emails in Thunderbird, disappear after I transfer them to allocated folders. The folder indicates the total number of emails the folder contains but only show 1 or 2 out of 9 The solicitor has received what I sent but I am not able to view them again in the folders. 2 of the emails I sent were very large files of photos but the one I sent today was just short and contained only text - the same thing happened again and it disappeared. Is there any way I can make them re-appear?

In my situation I have a work account that uses gmail as the mail server. every time I open TB I get this message popping up.

I have disabled all fetching of email and notifications of incoming mail and deleted related passwords.

Is there any way to fully disable an account without deleting it?

A number of times during the day, when I'm on my email account a window interrupts me to verify my account ( photo attached) After I follow all prompts repeatedly over many times a strange series of slashes cross the top of my window and it asks me if I want to go back to my previous last email. I can not proceed with my activity. So I close the computer and wait a couple of hours and try to start up, BUT my password box is filled with dots. I am unable to continue. So I wait longer. When I do get access it all starts over again. Is this you or google doing this? I have been with Thunderbird for years, and I hate the idea of having to go through Google to use you. Yesterday it locked me out of my computer in total. Need help!

This only works if I forward "as attachment" otherwise the body of the email is empty without any attachment. It only happens with PEC (Certified Email) emails, while with "normal" emails everything is fine. >> In the menu bar Select Tools-Options-Composition-General option is set to Inline.

Has anything changed? Anyone have this problem? I've really tried them all!
