Since I no longer have the option of setting a homepage; how can I get the search bar at the top to not auto fill my bookmarked sites when trying to enter a search? If, for example, I enter "c" it automatically fills in CNN.com and will continue from the end of ".com" with what I am typing to search.

Remove websites from the address bar suggestions or In order to change your Firefox Configuration please do the following steps :

  1. In the Location bar, type about:config and press Enter. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
  2. Click I'll be careful, I promise! to continue to the about:config page.
  3. Search for "browser.urlbar.autoFill" and make it false.
