Firefox keeps opening an old tab. How can I stop this?
When I open Firefox, it not only opens a tab with my home page but a second tab which contains an old search that I did. How can I get it to stop? I am using Firefox 30.0 and it states it is up to date as of today 7/13/14. I have Windows 7 as an operating system.

Your System Details list shows that you have two pages set as multiple home pages:
- browser.startup.homepage: http://home.myhughesnet.com/|http://isearch.avg.com/search?q=Hughes%20net%20Gen%203%20speeds&pid=&coid=&cid=&mid=&ds=&v=&lang=&pr=&sg=&d=&sap=nt&src=xp&snd=hp&sap_acp=0
Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.

You may have inadvertently set two homepages. See - How to set the homepage

I did indeed have 2 home pages set. Eliminating the 2nd one solved the problem. Thank you.
