Trying to download Firefox for browsing, but keep getting Trovi with it. I've uninstalled and installed Firefox 3 times. All instruction on removing Trovi on the web doesn't describe my options on this downloaded version of Firefox.

Chosen solution

Best to link to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ for full setup on Windows as otherwise you may get the small online Stub installer.

Hello,

Unfortunately, Trovi is malware that has managed to find its way onto your system. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Links that have helped other users with the Trovi infection:

If you didn't download Firefox from the Mozilla website, it might be better to download it again here (it might be better to download after removing Trovi through the steps above): https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

Hope that helps.
