In the group tabs window, I have created about 10 groups consisting of many tabs. Now when I go to the group tab window, none of the groups have any displays of previous saved tabs. Even the Main group doesn't display and tabs. Then I'm unable to get back to the main tab or exit the group window. I have to close FF completely and reopen or restore to an earlier session. This all happened after upgrading FF to 35.0.1 version

I do have another computer (net-book, Windows XP OS) that has maybe 8 tab groups that I might be able to copy to my Laptop ( Windows XP). But I'm not sure how to do that procedure.

Thank you for any answers to this problem.

Please make sure that your settings are correct for session restore: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/restore-previous-session#w_troublesh...

If the feature has changed, this may have affected thesession. However for good measure I would also recommend an add on like Session Manager to keep back ups.

As for the back up you have access too, in order to restore sessions please see the profile restoration kb: Recovering important data from an old profile

You need to restore a (backup) copy of the sessionstore.js file to recover tab groups and pinned App tabs.
