How can i enable silent printing on users browser through a website?

more options

A client wishes to enable silent printing on a webpage (i.e. print dialog does not open) as to restrict number of receipts (one) each customer can print. Is there any way to do this without getting the end user to act (i.e. automatic and not get the user to set kiosk print etc)?

I can't think of a way to do that.

Also, I'm not sure it would help. If each print has value, a user could set their default printer to a PDF printer. A saved PDF could be reprinted a large number of times. As well as shared very rapidly.
