first installed worked great for fv2 on fb now it won't do anything why
Trying to play FV2 on facebook when I first downloaded firefox, it worked great for that game. Now the last few days it is horrible. Takes a long time to load, then it wont really play the game. Nothing will plant seeds, the things I need to open just constantly try to connect. I can't really play that game anymore and I don't understand why. I keep the cache clean. Erase history, clean registry everyday. I play on a laptop, windows 7. I am very limited in going outside due to some disability, I enjoy the farm games on face book. I really hope this can be fixed as google chrome is worse! Thank you.

Some Flash games had problems starting up in Firefox 40 because of a new setting. I'm not sure you are having that issue, but just in case...
Firefox should automatically install a "hotfix" to turn off that new setting, but you can install it manually in case Firefox hasn't done it yet.
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/firefox-hotfix/
This is also included in Firefox 40.0.3, which is an update just released today. If you want to install that update now, you can use the "About Firefox" dialog from the help menu. Either:
- "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > About Firefox
- (menu bar) Help > About Firefox
Does the hotfix or update help with this problem?
I was so hopeful at first! FV opened, but it wouldn't load all the things to play the game. Just kept whirring to try to connect, I was on the 6th connection try when I quit. I did both off these, and they did not work. It just started to act up the last couple of days. I even uninstalled it, then re downloaded it, as I have found sometimes that fixes it. But no go. Thanks for the suggestion, maybe you have another one???? Hopeful. Thanks.
I can give you some general suggestions related to Flash, not specific to games:
(1) If you have any recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media make sure they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.
(2) Disable hardware acceleration in Flash: right-click the media in the player and choose Settings, then the first mini-tab and uncheck the box to use hardware acceleration.

(3) Disable protected mode (Windows Vista and higher)
The protected mode feature of the Flash player plugin has security benefits, but seems to have compatibility issues on some systems. You can disable it using the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. On the right side, find "Shockwave Flash" and click the More link. Then uncheck the box for "Enable Adobe Flash protected mode" and try that for a day to see whether it helps.
