When I unsubscribe to a folder, the folder is deleted from the server!

This is very dangerous behaviour, as the folder is not recoverable (doesn't go in the Trash, it is deleted from the IMAP server). Here is some info about the environment:

I've never seen anything like this reported against Thunderbird. So at first blush, this sounds like a bug in the server. Who is running the server?
