On a trusted site, I receive the following Security Warning popup every time I log in:

"The information you have entered on this page will be sent over an insecure connection and could be read by a third party. ... Are you sure you want to send this information?"

I always click "Continue".

How can I disable this popup?

You can't suppress these error message that you get when you have entered data on a secure connection and that is submitted to an open HTTP link. A website should always make sure that data is send via a secure connection. Firefox warns you about this.
