But the data for POP accounts are stored locally. I can't see why being in Local Folders as opposed to being in a POP-connected account's folders would matter. Very strange.
It does says IMAP under "server type" in account settings? "Pop" in the server name isn't sufficient…
It is a POP account. Say's so in accounts setting. It seems that maybe it is time limited offers whith attachments that are affected.
I have a couple of more questions. 1.It is problem when updating to newer version of Thunderbird Portable. When the program is restarted I get a messing saying that 'The update can not be installed. Please make sure the are no other copies of Thunderbird running on your computer, and then restart Thunderbird again.' When Iclick the only button OK the old version is loaded. This happen every time I try to start Thunderbird.
2.I have just got a new computer and installed Thunderbird Portable 38.5.1 on my NAS and moved the data folder to that installation. it seems to be working but all old mail have be duplicated. I did a new installatin and checked wich folders had changed and kept the old 'Data' folder. I did the same procedure to update the Thunderbird version on another computer and that installation don't have the problem with duplication.
3. I just got a message to update to version 38.6.0 which give the same problem when i try to update.
