Previously, when I typed for example "gl" it would autocomplete to; for example. "website.mozilla/glowingcactus" however now it will autocomplete to "gleefulhappysite.mozilla". How do I restore the original behavior? Gleefulhappysite.mozilla is not a site I've ever visited often, but it will no longer autocomplete anything other than the websites names themselves.

You can try to remove that entry if you do not use it.

Use these steps to remove saved (form) data from a drop-down list:

  1. click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
  2. highlight an entry in the drop-down list with the mouse or cursor Down key
do not click the mouse or press the Enter key
  3. press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to delete the highlighted entry

You can also remove that page from the history to reset the visit count.
