The sound never seems to work on twitch.tv,and only on that site. There is no problem with video though, and nothing has changed after reinstalling flash player.

It seems to work only after the first launch of the browser after a pc reboot, and only for one tab, until i refresh it,and stops working when all the extensions load.

After disabling all the extensions, nothing has changed.

The tab is not muted for sure, firefox doesn't even acknowledge it's trying to play any sound

Popping up the video player doesn't seem to change anything as well

We recently relaxed on some of the blocks for Nvidia drivers, please test this to make sure its not this issue by disabling hardware acceleration before booting Firefox.

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.

You will need to restart Firefox for this to take effect so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).

Then perform these steps:

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu and select Options on Windows or Preferences on Mac or Linux.
  2. Select the Advanced panel and then the General tab.
  3. Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available.
  4. Restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

If the problem is resolved, you should check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in these Knowledge base articles:

Thank you.
