I noticed today on Firefox on my work computer that the Share icon has changed from the "paper airplane" icon to an "upload" icon (an upward arrow extending from a horizontal rectangle). The function of sharing with the new icon has also changed: it's now a simplified text menu that includes emailing and the social networks I previously had set up. However, on my home computer, despite running all the same updates, the share icon and function remain the older design. Why is this? I've tried syncing. They're both running the most recent update. I really like the new functionality, and would enjoy using it at home, too! Any help?

Hi, I've just done some investigation. I think your work computer has the Activity Stream test pilot experiment installed.

If you go visit that link and install test pilot and activity stream at home, then you'll be able to experience the experimental design in both places.

Thanks for the help, Standard8! At first I thought this would do it, since I had disabled Activity Stream. However, after coming home and re-enabling it, I still have not gotten the new experimental Share feature. Odd. Is there something I am missing?
