Hello I'm frustrated with the frequency of crashes of Firefox.

Here are the id numbers of my last 3 crash logs. Can someone please tell me what the cause is and what I can do?

hi, due to the various different signatures i would speculate that a faulty hardware might be involved. can you check the integrity of your RAM with a tool like http://osxdaily.com/2011/05/03/memtest-mac-ram-test/ ?

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Options/Preferences -> Advanced -> General -> Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

Just clicked that. Let's see how it goes. Thanks for the tip

I'm also a frequenter to FF sporadic crashes, now having sent piles of handshake fault codes, and done everything to reduce them, the crashes keep piling in. The last was a crash on a site logout; not very encouraging nor confident, in a way I had to re-enter the site and change the password. It's these types of problems that drain one's confidence very fast. Perhaps it would be better (as someone else mentioned) to revert to an earlier version of FF.
