My login information is incorrectly saved as 12341111111 or something like that even after I manually login correctly. I can change it in the security options saved login screen but am prompted to update information every time when I login. If I ignore that prompt, it will login correct. This is so frustration as it is happening only on one site where my wife and I use different IDs.

Hi, try this: Delete ALL references to the website in question, as shown under the heading 'How do I remove a single website from my history?' in this article - Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox, then try the site (not from an old bookmark) again. Note: It may take a few minutes to complete the deletion.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!

Does it help if you edit this password in the Password Manager with a double-click on the password field?

  • Options/Preferences -> Security: Logins: "Saved Logins" -> "Show Passwords"

Firefox would normally always ask if the password would need to be updated if there is a mismatch.

I have my work around by not clicking the update box for this site so I am hesitant to try your suggestion. Thanks for your effort.

I am able to edit that field manually and have it working but the update password box still comes up even when I login. For now I just ignore the update suggestion and it works properly. But if I click the show password box, the 1234111111 shows up and that's incorrect so I just ignore it every time.
