Hi,

The version is 53.0.3 (32-bit). I have an issue with Mozilla Firefox not saving passwords once you either restart or shutdown the computer.

I believe it is removing the login.JSON file and key3.DB file from the profile in the hard drive is this because these are temp files.

Also just to add the password manager remembers logins for sites is ticked, in saved logins the site, username and last changed columns can be seen as well.

Once the computer shuts down the site and username disappears from the password manager, along with the autofill not working on the sites when you login.

Just wondering if anyone could help with this?

Are only the logins.json and key3.db files affected?

Do you have other software like Advanced SystemCare that could remove these files?

The logins.json and key3.db files are not temp files and shouldn't be removed.

Create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
