Hi I would like to set my spellchecker as UK English rather than USA English. I install and click the appropriate buttons and it goes to UK initially but then seems to revert back to the USA default some time later. How can I prevent this and keep the default as UK please?

Chosen solution

When you have an en-US version of Thunderbird itself, after each upgrade it will reset the default spell check language to en-US. You have to change it back to en-GB each time, or switch to an en-GB version of Thunderbird by downloading and installing it from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/all/
