OK. After my last post, I went and read your recommended reading "anti-virus s/w does more harm than good. Unfortunately, I like most people (yourself and a few select profebbionals excluded) am not a s/w dev. eng. However, I'm not stupid (I am a well educated mech eng.) but s/w dev. isn;t my gig. It would be nice to actually be able to get this kind of info without going through the level of investigation that I just did. Thanks for the info. Is widows defender buily into win 10?

Hi   ! Allow me to be blunt : Kaspersky is a major pain in the toosh and my advice is to remove the program.

With Windows' Defender and the safest browser on the planet, it's like being in Fort Knox.
