After updating my home page won't load. In options it still shows 'when firefox starts show your home page. Then home page https://my.yahoo.com/. All I get is a blank screen. File, edt, view, etc. is still there, along with my many bookmarks, I've done the updates 5 times in the past 3-4 weeks and each time have had to do a system restore. In the address bar, when I type in my.yahoo.com, I get either 'server not found' or nothing. I've tried in safe mode all 5-6 times and still, home page won't load. I realize some don't like my.yahoo.com, but I've had it for years and 20+ rss feeds on it,

Welcome How about just leaving it and Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th then go to Help --> About and update. Or on release of 57 uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. Then Install from a Full Version Installer. Info is already above for location of 56.0.2 which should change to 57 Full Version Installer

Send info will take effect next time post a new question.

Can try : Delete the cookies for yahoo (login.yahoo.com, mail ect... and something else is where it gets it's images from) clear your cache Restart firefox.

Please consider turning on send info to Mozilla before posting a question. This helps us help you. As I have no info from your system that would help see things that cause issues.

You sure you got those version numbers correct ? Current release is Firefox 56.0.2 https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ Full Version Installer

This seems to be a issue with you for sure as I checked my.yahoo.com along with http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/# and site is up.

I would say this is the danger of using a beta and have no answers for you if you are running those very high release numbers. You should submit a bug report though https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/

Note : Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/ Note : Legacy Extensions will be disabled and or removed.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Sorry, it was 56.0.1 and 56.0.2 that I had downloaded. As soon as I do a system restore and go back to 56.0, everything works fine. I know my.yahoo wasn't down, it was that FF wouldn't load it. I have Windows 7 Professional and 64-bit operating system. I just turned on 'send info to Mozilla'.

Thanks PKshadow, for taking the time to help me.
