I installed Thunderbird, and added my GMAIL, via IMAP. INBOX syncs up fine, but my past "SENT" emails from GMAIL do not sync up to Thunderbird. Can you help?

My INBOX from GMAIL syncs up fine from years back, however, my SENT is empty. I'd like my SENT email messages that I've sent throughout the years, to also sync up in Thunderbird.

Chosen solution

GMail has its own hierarchy of system folders under [GMail]. You need to subscribe to the "other" Sent folder.

To see folders that you can subscribe to, right click on the mail account name in the folder pane and select 'Subscribe'. A new window should open showing a list of folders. Select the folders you want to see in Thunderbird and click on 'Subscribe', then OK
