I was told by Kaspersky support, that viruses found in non-existing mails are located in Thunderbird's backup files. They are not saved in main storage of mails, on HDD, but somewhere else. So I was advised to ask Mozilla, how can I turn of backup (?) of email files on my Thunderbird. Or temporary place.
