I can't seem to find any information on how to get around this. I'd like to use reCaptcha on my site to stave off bots from spamming me. Unfortunately it looks like Content Blocking does not allow the api to load when the site is viewed.

The resource at "https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js" was blocked because content blocking is enabled.

Am I missing something?

That link shows the Scripting for me.

I'd have to see the page where you have it to see if it's not showing for me there.
