[bug] Tab Detach, disable tab to new window when dragging along adressbar(sorting tabs/focus tab)
Is it possible to limit the spawn of a new window for a tab to the boundaries of the Firefox window it self, or some set-point delay before it's allowed to spawn the tab in a new window?
Now with sorting tabs or holding the mouse button for a split second to long after tab focus while moving on to the page content, they spawn to a new window because when they hover the address bar that feature gets triggered, which is quite annoying tbh.

Try to use this extension.
The plugin works, but it seems to be quite some dirty workaround that seems to make the action immediately undone, such method is likely to destroy my sessions with nested tabs.
I rather want to avoid the use of plugins as a cheap patch for a bug/poorly overthought feature that should receive a place in about:config, that is annoying many people for many years as these found bug reports show. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=465346 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=465531 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=465712 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=465917 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=466436 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=466156 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=468075 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=469142 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=469488 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=469813 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=470103 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=469952 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=470937 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=478089 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=472733 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=478638 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=479628 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=480218 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=484815 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=493215

Hi 1q2w3e, maybe you can recruit a developer to work on one or more of those bugs. Support forum volunteers generally do not work on coding Firefox.
