How do I uninstall Firefox Lockwise? It is keeping me from logging into retail accounts to pay bills.
I installed Lockwise about a month ago. Now I am unable to access any past saved log-ins, which was never any trouble when I went to the Options tab and clicked on the box for saved log-ins. The log-ins that are saved are not recognized by the retail sites.

I believe Lockwise is an add-on. You could look for it on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
- type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return
In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions.
Then scan down the list on the right side. Is it there? Can you Disable or Remove it?
Oops, we have an article, so I should have pointed you here: Manage your logins with the Firefox Password Manager.
More generally, it sounds as though Lockwise is missing some logins you saved in Firefox's built-in password manager before. I think you might need to enable Sync and select passwords as a category in order to transfer them. But I'm just guessing from this article: Getting started with Firefox Lockwise.
In Firefox 68 is Lockwise builtin. When you disable or remove Lockwise then Firefox should fallback the the builtin Password Manager.
This pref controls what Password Manager to use:
- signon.management.overrideURI
For Lockwise this is currently a moz-extension:// URI.
- moz-extension://xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx/list/manage.html?filter=%DOMAIN%
To use the builtin Password Manager this pref needs to be:
- chrome://passwordmgr/content/passwordManager.xul
In Firefox 68+ this pref will link to the builtin about:logins page when Lockwise is used.
