I have Firefox synced between 3 computers and it works great on them. Never had a problem over the years. I tried to add Firefox to my android today and it jumbled up and duplicated a lot of my bookmarks and overwrote the "cloud" version so that messed up my bookmarks on the computers. I restored to an old version on my computer, but can't get the Android version to stop messing with the cloud backup and to accept the way the bookmarks are laid out on my computer. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

Thank you for your question.

Please appreciate that Firefox Sync is not a cloud backup, it is more like a package of information moving between two copies of Firefox.

Sometimes (not very often) it can get a little mixed up, but you should find that if you keep the desktop copy organised, the mobile copy should fall in line (the same thing has happened to me).

@Seburo Thanks, but that's not what's happening here. My desktop copy is being distorted by the mobile copy. It is doing it consistently and repeatibly. I have cleared and reinstalled the mobile version, I have cleared the version out of sync's memory and put back in the good backup from the desktop. It does it immediately every time I run the sync on mobile.
