Close the Bookmarks sidebar when a link is clicked.

To save screen space, I would like to use bookmarks in the following fashion.

  • 1. Bring up the Bookmarks sidebar
  • 2. Click a link inside of the Bookmarks sidebar.
  • 3. Close the Bookmarks sidebar.

So, is there any way to do close the sidebar when a link is clicked? Microsoft's Edge's Favourites bar works that way: when I click an item, it automatically closes.

Sorry, the Bookmarks Sidebar doesn't have an auto-close feature built in.

Search the add-ons website to see if an extension with that feature is available.
