Missing messages after migration

I have migrated messages from one account to another. Some messages are missing. After I was done I removed the two accounts so now only the local folders are left. When I search, in the Message Filter view I see the missing messages. But when I click on 'Open email as list' it results in an empty list. Can anyone recommend a way to restore these messages into a functioning folder? The issue is the exist somewhere but they seem to be corrupted as I cannot find them in an actual folder anywhere, only in search results.

If the missing messages were in the accounts you removed, they may still show up in Global Search until the database is rebuilt:
