Address Book Filenames Changed?
My PC crashed but I was able to copy all personal files to a thumb drive. I'm trying to restore the address book to my new PC.. The thumb drive files are: abook.mab and history.mab.
Below the Profiles folder on the new PC are:
folder 27oqs7sw.default-release, containing files: abook.sqlite and history.sqlite
folder: btdybd21.default, containing files: cert9.db, key4.db, pkcs11.txt, and times.json
There are no mab files on the new PC's profile. How do I get my old address book on the new PC? Thanks, Gary
Chosen solution
Copy the mab files into the profile folder of the new computer, and rename the 2 sqlite files, with TB closed. On restart, TB should convert the mab files to sqlite files, and create abook.mab.bak and history.mab.bak.

OMG. It not only fixes the issue completely but I was actually successful. I've been wondering when my age would shut me down. Thank you very much!
Thank you SO SO MUCH! I've been trying everything to restore my T-bird address book after trying to restore my Carbonite backup to my new Windows 10 PC. This was very easy to follow and my address book is back in place. Whew!
