On my mac, I have the Restore Previous Sessions enabled and when ever I close the browser and reopen it all my tabs from the previous session is gone! I never had a problem with this with my PC.

- I never press Quit Firefox and just close the browser to restart my computer. - How do I restore from my previous session?

Use one of these to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox Title bar.

  • "3-bar" menu button -> Exit (Power button)
  • Mac: Firefox -> Quit Firefox
  • Windows: File -> Exit
  • Linux: File -> Quit

On Mac closing Firefox can be more complicated because you can close all open windows, but keep Firefox running with the menu bar visible or minimized in the Doc.

You can check "History -> Recently Closed Tabs/Windows" if Firefox doesn't restore the tabs on the next start.
