How Do I Disable Password Manager/Now Firefox Lockwise?
I am one who never has and never intends to have any passwords saved or otherwise stored on any browser/website/app. Firefox prompts one to make a choice to do so or not via a drop-down box offering choices "Allow", "Don't Allow" and "Never Allow". In spite of my repeated responses by clicking on "Never Allow", I am always, perpetually annoyed by being continually confronted with the same drop-down box...which tells me that "Never" does not in fact mean what it should.
If anyone can help me with any information directing me to a specific step or series of steps I can make to completely disable Password Manager/Firefox Lockwise...I would be extremely grateful. It is yet another unfortunate reality of our "new collective normal" when we simply must engage the digital world that utterly disregards it actual negative impacts on flesh and blood.
What can I do to make this annoying and utterly useless drop-down box go away...forever...as in, appear "Never Again?"
Chosen solution
You can disable the Firefox Password Manager via Options/Preferences.
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security: Logins and Passwords: "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites"
The choices you mention ("Allow", "Don't Allow", "Never Allow") are only for this specific website (origin), see the Login Exceptions on Options/Preferences.
