Hello.

I am using Firefox 96.0.3 (64-bit) in macOS Big Sur 11.6.1, reproduced this problem without any extensions loaded.

Until two days ago, I could save any kind of files without problems, but now the "Save as" for example for PDF files, the dialog dissapears and does not download the selected file. For web pages, the Save as dialog does not even appear.

Is this a known issue?

Let me know if you need further information.

Cheers

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Just discovered this behavior also happens with other applications in my box, for example TextMate. So this probably it is a problem with my own macOS (need to investigate further).

Thanks.
