Thunderbird update
"About Thunderbird" tells me I am on release 91.11.0 (32-bit) on my desktop PC running win8.1. It also tells me I am "on the release update channel".
Release notes indicate that Version 102.0.3, first offered to channel users on July 20, 2022, is the current release.
My question is why is my Thunderbird, on release 91.11.0, is not being offered migration to release 102.0.3? I have not been able to find any answers to this on any of the forums.
Explanation/assistance appreciated. Thanks

You are on the final update of that series. 102 is available and will be offered to you at a later date, but there are bugs being fixed and the upgrade will be smoother if you wait. People who insist on upgrading frequently complain of problems and post here for instructions (which are not guaranteed) on how to revert to 91. My advice is to stay put for now. At some future date, your 'about' page will show the update. Thanks for asking. I wish more people did on this topic.

Thanks for the swift reply David, I will be happy to wait, now I understand the situation.
