On my.yahoo home page the Fox News links do not work. Click any of them and I come back to https://my.yahoo.com/

This started about 1 week ago. The links also don't work starting FF in safe mode. The links on my.yahoo home page also do not work on Chrome or Edge (same behavior). See attached screen shot image. I am also minimizing the use of cookies on all browsers. However, the links work fine on all the other my.yahoo panels (ABC News: US, News: NPR, CNET, etc.) for all browsers. And on some sites paying with PayPal does not work - as others have noted.

Chosen solution

I noticed when I just logged on to my.yahoo.com that all the Fox News links now have the proper URL and not the my.yahoo.com page. So, the problem with yahoo and the Fox News panel is now fixed. Thanks for your suggestions.

Problem semi-solved. Looks like it is a Yahoo problem. Need to delete Cache in FF. Solution in https://updownradar.com/status/foxnews.com. But it may come back.

For general reference by anyone landing in this thread: How to clear the Firefox cache.

Well, I thought it was fixed. After clearing cache there was a new link when I hovered over the Fox New link; but it did not take me to Fox News; it brought me back to the my.yahoo home page again:

https://my.yahoo.com/?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly9sb2dpbi55YWhvby5jb20v&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAHzAE4kcqn2egbIDTcUEf5RCI0eWab7Y4dpJ3OIOF92xIV4Ew_X9hpHbSCsTs4eHC7FifT7dnwiPi4jQowRS0fkwxu6S1HDdy1-HgPsOE8ztJzIzMaqHi4jiGmhdC-j611ej2nRcrVW7jqzAMyvEL16ZAqNHxfVIbnVQuSipax7E

After that one time link that brings me back to the my.yahoo.com page, the next time I log on to my.yahoo th link just shows:

https://my.yahoo.com/

So, no fix at all.

I don't know why some Yahoo links work and others don't, on the same page, in the same widget. Do you use any add-ons that might edit links in pages?

more options

No, I did not enter anything new.

In any case I see the same behavior in Edge and Chrome. I will live with it until Yahoo fixes it. I can still see part of the information when I hover over the link. If I really want to see the full article I can copy the topic name and Google it. That brings up the full Fox News article.

jscher2000, thanks for responding.

In case it's faster, you can hold down the Alt key to avoid clicking a link while you select its text. Then right-click and there should be a menu item to run a search for that phrase.
