I keep the browser open and at some time my C drive has limited disk space.(~100mb) Then extensions stop working and after a browser restart, all extension data are lost. In my opinion current extension data shouldn't be lost even if disk space is limited.

  • I have encountered this several times so I'm pretty sure it's a thing.

Yeah.. it's a storage thing. Why not fix the storage issue. In today's world storage is not expensive. Have you tried cleared all the typical unneeded files that comes with windows?

Yes I tried. I'm just lazy to clean up files, thanks for your sugggestions. But my main point is, why should the current extension settings or data lost if my C drive is full? Shouldn't they already be somewhere on my drive? Which in that case, old settings or data shouldn't be lost, though new ones may not be created.

Do you have another drive that has more space as you can create the Firefox profile folder on that other drive?

Make sure to use a new empty folder for the profile and not a folder that already has files in it.

This helps, though I was to report a bug.
