ok - i know how to create filters

but what i can not figure is how to "AGREE" with what Thunderbird "SUSPECTS /THINKS" is junk to avoid having to create filter - part of the adaptive learning that would be effing awesome - a button next to yellow "not junk" would read - " yes this is junk" then i don't have to create filters over an over again

thanks in advance if that setting already exists but i am too knuckle headed to have read it and not understand...

You can tell Thunderbird what to do with messages classified as junk. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-junk-spam-messages#w_junk-filter-settings

You'll still get them anyway, there is no way around that once your email address is 'burned'. But you won't see them in your Inbox anymore.

Also see how to train the filter: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-junk-spam-messages#w_training-the-junk-filter
