My Web Bill Pay program at USAA Federal Savings Bank no longer functions properly since I enrolled for Skype unlimited landline unless I boot Firefox in safe mode.

I have used Firefox and the Web Bill Pay program provided by USAA Federal Savings Bank without problems for several years. I am now experiencing a major problem that prevents me from entering a payment amount when I try to write a check. I called the USAA technical department and they said they were aware of the problem and it is being caused by a conflict between Firefox and Skype (I have used Skype for over a year but the problem seems to have started since I purchased their unlimited landline service). USAA suggested that I either change my browser or boot my Firefox browser in safe mode. I did that and it worked properly. I prefer to continue using my Firefox browser in standard mode.

You can try to disable the "Skype extension for Firefox" extension, you don't need it and it has been reported to cause more problems (disappearing phone numbers).

Your suggestion to disable ""Skype extension for Firefox" was right-on. Initially, I had no idea how to do that but found the solution in your reference to "Troubleshooting extensions and themes". Thanks to you I can now pay my bills. I really appreciate your help.
