When I press Control+F, or use the find as you type feature, the text in the Find textbox is white, so as I type in what I'm looking for, I can't see it unless I type something in wrong and the background color turns red, or I highlight the text.

Chosen solution

Are you using the custom theme or a persona (Tools > Add-ons > Themes)?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Thanks a lot cor-el. It was a add-on I was using called Stylish that changed the theme of Firefox. I ended up switching it for a Firefox approved theme.

Thanks for the help.
