The Ask toolbar is normally uninstalled by using the Windows control panel.
- In the Windows Start menu select "Control Panel"
- Under the Programs icon, select "Uninstall a program"
- Select the "Ask Toolbar" in the list of installed programs
- Click Uninstall and then Continue to remove the Toolbar
Even when it is uninstalled, it can still leave remnants behind in Firefox, for details of other things to check see this forum post at Mozillazine - http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=5069645#p5069645
No problem durng UNINSTALL ASk toolbar Restart PC to complete unisntall OK Start explorer click on tools and click on internet options so change ASK.COM to google - you are DONE Start firefox and SCREEN completely accupied by ASK Cannot see tools on top. SO what I did is: UNINSTALL firefox and DONT miss clearing history before reintall. Then it works (I always check if somting offered ON TOP but time to time I miss ASK)
