Tracking cookies are added when you visit web sites.
A couple of options, you can block third-party cookies. To do that in the Tools menu select Options to open the options window. Go to the Privacy panel, and set the top drop-down box to "Use custom settings for history". Next de-select the setting "Accept third-party cookies" then click OK.
An alternative approach is to use either the Beef Taco (Targeted Advertising Cookie Opt-Out) (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/ad.../beef-taco-targeted-advertising) or Targeted Advertising Cookie Opt-Out (TACO) (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/fire.../targeted-advertising-cookie-op) extension. Either of them will set opt-out cookies for many of the tracking sites.
sorry I should have been more specific. I do have cookies and LSO / flash cookies blocked. just wondered why so many tracking cookies.. will block them also. thanks.
