After a recent update to FF 3.6.16 I can no longer customise the BBC Homepage. I can still use the "Customise" function in IE8 but I prefer to use FF.

Similar problem, but I've just updated to Firefox 4.01, running on Windows XP. Being more specific about the problem, when I remove modules of the homepage that I don't want (sport, music, children, ...), select the "Customise" tab and click on "Save", the modules I removed are restored - just as if I'd clicked on the link to restore the default homepage :(

Identical symptoms to those reported by LesleyMay, but I'm using version 3.6.17 (tailored by Canonical), running on Ubuntu Linux version 10.10. I wonder whether this is a problem with the BBC web site rather than with Firefox?
