I have downloaded a Nikon manual for my camera twice. It is a PDF document. It is not in downloads, documents or anywhere else that I know where to look - can you help?

You are using Firefox 4 and I've not used it before but perhaps I can help you.

Try using XP search to find the file. Click Start and then click Search and search for files and folders.

For the file name to search for, put in *.pdf and start the search.

This will search for all PDF files on your system. It may take a while, but if you have downloaded the file, it should be found.

I don't know if Firefox 4 has the same feature, but look in the Tools menu (or its equivalent for Firefox 4) for a way to display the Downloads window.

This will contain a list of everything you have downloaded. If you find the camera manual in the list, right click on it and select Open Containing Folder -- this may be different in Firefox 4.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much - I didn't completely read the download instructions and hadn't checked "save a link". Once I did that it showed up in Firefox downloads - thanks for taking the time to help me - I love Firefox but I've only been using it a few days. Kathy in Spokane
