One of my Toolbar buttons take up a lot of real estate. The button says "Google Shortcuts". It has an icon before the phrase and a down arrow after the phrase. I'm using the small icons too, but the Toolbar button still takes up a lot of room. How can I change the phrase "Google Shortcuts" to something like "Google". There is no option to change the phrase within this add-on.

I'm using FF 3.6.18 on an XP box.

That is a Google problem, not a Firefox problem; either:

  • contact Google or
  • remove the toolbar

Since Firefox is highly customizable, I would think there'd be a way to change the wording of any item in the toolbar. For example, I've always wanted to change "Back" to "Prev" and "Forward" to "Next". Oh well. Thanks anyway.
