How do I change the default viewing size for web pages? I know I can press Shift and + or - to modify the size, but having to do this every time I open a new page is annoying. Cheers

Hey there,

I know that by pressing Alt and + or - I can change a website's viewing size. But how do I change the DEFAULT size that all websites open in? Having to press Alt + a few times for EVERY new website gets annoying.

Cheers

Tools / Options / click the Content button.

There you will be able to specify the default font type, as well as the font size. Also click the Advanced button and get more settings, such as the resolution and the minimum font size to use.

Also you might need to set View / Page style / No style instead of Basic style.

Tip: CTRL+scroll-mouse changes the zoom.

If you find this too much, try Theme Font & Size Changer addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/theme-font-size-changer/

Cheers.

Do not change the fonts in Content! That is liable to create another set of problems with page display.

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.

Try the Default FullZoom Level extension:

Or the NoSquint extension:
